Koi Spirit Tales (“we”, “our”, “us”, “app”) is a storybook game for children and families, developed by Koi Spirit. This policy covers the Koi Spirit Tales app on Android, iPhone and iPad.
User information
The app does not collect or share any user information. It does not contain:
Accounts, advertisements, in-app purchases, analytics, tracking software or links to the internet.
It does not send any information beyond the user's device and functions completely offline.
What the app keeps on your device
To work properly, the app saves on your own device:
- Your bookmark: the page you last reached in the story
- Your sound settings: the music and sound-effect volume, and whether each is muted
This information does not identify you and is not sent to us. If device backup is turned on, Google or Apple may include it in the backup of your own device, under their own privacy policies.
Printing
If you choose to print a coloring page, the app hands that page to your device's printing system. The page is artwork from the app and contains no user information.
Children's privacy
In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not collect user information from children under the age of 13 or those of any other age.
Buying the app
The app is sold through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Payments are handled by the store, under its own privacy policy. Neither we nor the app sees user payment details.
Other companies
The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software from other companies.
Google and Apple provide us with reports about the app such as sales, download numbers and crash reports for those that opt to do so. These come from their own systems, not from the app, and provide no identifying information on the user.
Keeping and deleting information
No user information is collected. Only the bookmark and sound settings stay on your device until you delete the app or clear its data, which removes them.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date.
